Role Description
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing on-site activities for various residential projects, ensuring that construction runs smoothly, on time, and within budget. Key duties include managing construction schedules, coordinating subcontractors, enforcing safety protocols, and monitoring the quality of work. This is a full-time, on-site role based in St. Albert, AB, and requires hands-on leadership to deliver exceptional homes aligned with clients standards of quality and design.
Qualifications
Experience in Construction Site Management, with the ability to lead day-to-day operations efficiently.
Strong knowledge of Construction Safety practices and adherence to safety regulations.
Exceptional Organization Skills to manage schedules, documentation, and material logistics effectively.
Proficiency in Budgeting and cost control to ensure projects are completed within allocated financial plans.
Demonstrated expertise in Project Management, including planning, coordination, and problem-solving.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, team members, and subcontractors.
Ability to adapt to challenges and make decisions in a fast-paced construction environment.
Prior experience in residential home construction and knowledge of Alberta building codes is an asset.
A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to job sites in the St. Albert area.
