We are seeking a
Planning & Scheduling Student
for our
North American Headquarters (NAHQ)
in
Edmonton, Alberta
, that is available for
4 months
starting in
May 2026
. This position will be under the direct supervisor of the Director Schedule Risk Management .
As a
Planning & Scheduling Student
and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
Responsibilities
Assisting with preparing schedule metrics, summaries, and visuals to support project reviews, schedule quality checks, compliance initiatives, and internal reporting and presentations.
Supporting the maintenance and updating of Planning, Scheduling, and Lean best practices, and documentation.
Supporting data collection, organization, and analysis for historical records and reporting initiatives.
Assisting with software requirements related to Planning, Scheduling, and Lean functions.
Other related responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
Strong desire to work in a construction environment; prior field construction experience is an asset.
Proficiency in technology, including various computer software programs such as word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Excellent communication and visualization skills.
Methodical problem-solving abilities.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Strong data analysis skills.
Knowledge of Primavera P6 (Web and Professional) and Acumen Fuse and Risk is advantageous.
Experience with additional technologies like Power BI is an asset.
