Drivers will be responsible for transporting goods and materials while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently Tarp, secure, and inspect cargo to ensure safe transportation Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections Monitor vehicle performance and report maintenance concerns Complete driver logbooks, inspection reports, and accident/incident documentation Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company safety policies Assist with production duties as assigned Provide professional customer service when interacting with customers and team members Maintain a clean and safe work environment Qualifications Strong knowledge of safe driving practices Ability to follow oral and written instructions Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong time management and organizational skills Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment Class A/AZ Driver's License MUST be able to drive automatic/manual Air Brake (Z) Endorsement Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) Certificate Air Brake Adjustment Certificate Experience hauling steel or similar materials Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to perform vehicle inspections and secure loads Ability to work in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Competitive pay at $27.65 per hour Full-time permanent employment Comprehensive benefits package Company-sponsored RRSP program Up to 60 hours per week available No overnight travel required Weekends off Company-provided uniforms Supportive team environment Comprehensive training program including a minimum of two weeks with driver trainers and one day of classroom training Strong commitment to safety and employee development Shifts: Typical start times between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM Start times may vary based on operational requirements Candidates must be flexible and willing to work night shifts if required Up to 60 hours per week available Weekends off No overnight stays required Duration: Full-Time, Permanent Successful candidates must be able to complete: Criminal Background Check Driver's Abstract / Driving Record Check Medical Examination Drug Test Verification of applicable licenses and certifications How to Apply: Apply & Receive offers NOW!
