Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
Do you enjoy turning complex data into clear decisions? Are you just as comfortable working with an Excel spreadsheet as you are presenting to senior management? This strategic role, at the intersection of analysis and influence, was designed with you in mind.
Your responsibilities with us:
Workforce Planning and Performance
Collect, analyze, model, and interpret data from various sources to formulate strategic recommendations for workforce planning
Maintain capacity plans and present them clearly and effectively to executives at external firms and agencies
Produce structured performance analyses and optimization recommendations tailored to different business sectors and their stakeholders
Formulate hiring recommendations aligned with budgets and organizational objectives
Support business units throughout the budgeting process
Adapt and use forecasting models and tools
Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
Establish and maintain excellent relationships with various partners both within and outside the workforce planning team
Serve as the primary point of contact for the firms and agencies we serve
Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with executives and external partners
Proactively participate in initiatives to improve systems and processes
Find ways to streamline work methods—you’re not one to settle for the status quo
Data Management and Business Intelligence
Maintain and optimize our data environments, primarily in SharePoint, Power BI, and Excel
Design, develop, and update Power BI dashboards to enable real-time tracking of performance and capacity metrics
Ensure the quality, integrity, and consistency of data across various platforms
Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process improvement related to data
What You’ll Bring:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, mathematics, statistics, business intelligence, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel (modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas)
Proficiency with Power Query and Power BI data processing tools (reporting, dashboards, DAX—a significant asset)
Good knowledge of SharePoint
Proficiency in PowerPoint
Knowledge of SQL query languages—a plus
Professional Skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Diligence and ability to research, gather, and organize information
Excellent communication skills, particularly when presenting to executive-level audiences
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to quickly identify inconsistencies and anomalies in data and reports
Keen attention to detail, enabling the detection of errors before they reach stakeholders
Natural inclination to get to the bottom of issues and propose concrete, effective solutions
Other
No professional experience in Canada is required, but a valid Canadian work permit is necessary
Bilingualism
(French and English) – required to communicate regularly with colleagues across the country.
