Join Our Growing Team! At Tykel, we are a fast-growing Hollow Metal supplier looking to add a motivated Welder to our production team. Whether you're just starting your welding career or have years of experience, we're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. If you enjoy working with your hands, take pride in producing quality work, and want to grow with a successful company, we'd love to hear from you. Who We Are Tykel was founded in 2019 by Tyler Vanderwoude with a clear vision: to elevate the commercial door supply industry through exceptional service and innovative technology. Just a few months later, Tyler brought on Lucas Holtvluwer as Tykel’s first hire, training him in the trade. As Tykel grew, so did the partnership. By 2022, Lucas officially joined as a partner, taking the lead on project management and operations while Tyler focused on sales and estimating. That same year, we began developing external partnerships with installation experts in order to provide our clients with a more comprehensive end-to-end service experience. Growth continued, and in 2023, Tykel relocated to a larger facility close to Brantford, Ontario. With our expanded warehouse space and growing team, we improved lead times and service capacity. That summer, we introduced Handle, a custom-built, industry-leading door supply software system we designed to streamline construction projects for our clients. In January 2024, Tykel celebrated five years in business—a milestone marking not just our growth, but our commitment to integrity, service, and excellence in the industry. We’re excited to continue growing Tykel, providing superior service for new clients and committed partners alike. What You'll Do Perform welding and fabrication on hollow metal products.
