Role Overview
The Web Developer (Marketing) is responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining high-performing web experiences that drive acquisition, conversion, and engagement across multiple regional markets. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and marketing, translating campaign and growth objectives into scalable, measurable, and conversion-focused digital experiences.This role requires strong ownership, initiative, and the ability to independently identify opportunities to improve website performance, user experience, conversion flows, and marketing operations.
Core Responsibilities
Website & Landing Page Development
Develop, maintain, and optimize marketing websites and landing pages across multiple regions.
Translate requirements, wireframes, and designs into responsive, accessible, production-ready web experiences.
Ensure consistency across brand, UX, implementation, and regional variations.
Build reusable components, templates, and page structures to support efficient campaign execution.
Manage region-specific content, localization requirements, and geo-targeted user experiences.
Implement dynamic content, regional redirects, localized forms, and market-specific conversion flows where applicable.
Conversion Optimization & Experimentation
Own and evolve landing page experimentation and conversion infrastructure.
Partner with marketing teams to increase testing velocity and reduce campaign launch timelines.
Optimize landing pages, forms, and user flows to improve conversion performance and lead quality.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve user experience, site engagement, and conversion rates through proactive analysis and testing.
CMS & Marketing Stack Integration
Own and extend WordPress environments, including themes, plugins, templates, CMS governance, and content workflows.
Maintain and optimize multi-site and multi-region website structures where applicable.
Integrate and maintain marketing technology platforms including HubSpot and related CRM systems.
Build and manage HubSpot-connected forms, lead routing, attribution tracking, hidden field logic, and automation workflows.
Ensure reliable data flow between front-end experiences, CMS platforms, analytics systems, and backend marketing tools.
Troubleshoot plugin conflicts, deployment issues, and integration reliability across environments.
Performance, SEO & Accessibility
Own website performance, technical SEO, and Core Web Vitals optimization.
Maintain fast, reliable page performance during high campaign traffic periods.
Implement SEO best practices including metadata, schema markup, indexing, redirects, internal linking, and site architecture.
Support regional SEO initiatives and localized search optimization strategies.
Monitor website health using tools such as Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and performance monitoring platforms.
Ensure accessibility standards (WCAG compliance) and cross-browser/device compatibility.
Analytics & Tracking
Own tracking, attribution, and event instrumentation across marketing properties.
Implement and maintain Google Tag Manager (GTM), GA4, conversion tracking, and analytics infrastructure.
Ensure accurate funnel tracking, campaign attribution, and experimentation measurement.
Support marketing teams with reporting validation, tracking QA, and performance analysis.
Maintain data accuracy across forms, CRM systems, analytics platforms, and marketing automation tools.
Collaboration with Marketing
Partner closely with growth, paid media, content, SEO, and design teams to execute campaigns efficiently.
Provide input on technical feasibility, timelines, optimization opportunities, and scalable implementation strategies.
Enable marketing teams through flexible CMS structures and reusable landing page systems.
Act as a proactive technical partner capable of identifying solutions and improvements with minimal oversight.
Ability to balance speed, scalability, maintainability, and business impact

Comfortable operating independently in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities
Required Experience
4+ years of experience in web development supporting marketing, growth, or digital acquisition teams
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), responsive web development, and WordPress development/administration
Experience working with WordPress themes, plugins, page builders, custom templates, CMS workflows, and multi-region/localized website management
Hands-on experience integrating HubSpot forms, CRM systems, marketing automation tools, APIs, third-party integrations, and webhooks
Experience implementing and managing GA4, Google Tag Manager (GTM), conversion tracking, attribution, and analytics infrastructure
Strong understanding of technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, website performance optimization, and responsive conversion-focused landing page development
Experience supporting paid acquisition campaigns, conversion funnels, user behavior analysis, geo-targeted experiences, and localized conversion strategies
Experience with version control (Git) and deployment workflows; familiarity with React or Next.js is considered an asset
Ability to independently manage projects from concept through deployment, optimization, troubleshooting, and ongoing performance improvements
Strong cross-functional collaboration, problem-solving, communication, and ownership capabilities in fast-paced marketing environments
