Job DescriptionJob Description Our client, one of the big 5 banks in Canada, is hiring a Wealth Operations Associate to support back-office processing within a fast-paced financial services environment. This role is hybrid, with the expectations of working in the office 1 day a week (downtown Toronto). This is a non-customer-facing, back-office role focused on processing transactions, reviewing account documentation, managing service requests, and supporting internal business teams. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure all requests are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with internal procedures, compliance requirements, and service-level expectations. Key Responsibilities • Review client account details, transfer forms, supporting documentation, and transaction instructions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance • Process back-office service requests related to registered and non-registered investment products, including account transfers, updates, and maintenance activities • Support the processing of inbound and outbound transfers across registered accounts such as RRSPs, TFSAs, RRIFs, RESPs, and non-registered investment accounts • Validate transfer documentation, account ownership details, client information, and product requirements before submitting requests for processing • Manage daily assigned work through internal ticketing systems, ensuring transfer and operational requests are actioned within required timelines • Enter, update, and maintain accurate client, account, and transfer information across internal banking and processing systems • Review estate, legal, beneficiary, and account-related documentation to support transfer and account processing requirements • Monitor transfer requests, follow up on outstanding items, and track progress to ensure files move through the workflow efficiently • Identify documentation gaps, processing issues, rejected items, or discrepancies, and escalate concerns to the appropriate internal teams when needed • Ensure all transfer and account processing activities are completed in accordance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and service-level agreements • Communicate with internal teams, branches, advisors, operations groups, and processing partners through email, phone, and internal messaging platforms Ideal Candidate Profile 6+ Months in previous banking/financial services/wealth management experience (having a CSC/CRE counts as well) Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of everyday computer systems and software (Microsoft Office, Teams, Etc.) #canadapriority26 Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toronto, ON.
