POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Technician is a vital member of the operations team and plays a pivotal role in ensuring effective and efficient execution of warehouse operations including shipping and receiving, order processing, and timely shipment of products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle transactions of incoming and outgoing flow of products
Receive products with proper documentation and complete necessary follow-up
Put stock away and maintain product locations in bay, warehouse and yard
Participate in inventory counts as needed
Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse, yard and other areas of the department
Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
Prompt loading and unloading of the truck to ensure timely delivery
Provide exceptional service to in-person customers
Process incoming deliveries and prepare outgoing deliveries
Ensure payment terms are met and documented
Perform equipment maintenance and inspection
Complete other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to load and unload shipments weighing up to 50 lbs
Shipping, receiving, and forklift experience
Valid driver’s license and clean abstract
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
HOURS OF WORK
The typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
