Job DescriptionJob Description Warehouse Team Lead – Inventory Control | WMS | Forklift Location: Scarborough, ON (Candidates living in or near Scarborough are strongly preferred) Pay: $24.00–$30.00/hour, depending on experience Job Type: Full-time- Permanent Shift: Afternoon | 3:00/4:00 PM – 11:00 PM/1:00 AM Schedule: Monday–Friday OR Sunday–Thursday Job Overview We are hiring an experienced Warehouse Team Lead / Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate afternoon-shift warehouse operations, inventory activities, order fulfillment, and a team of warehouse employees. The ideal candidate will have strong warehouse supervisory experience, hands-on inventory control and cycle count experience, and extensive experience using RF scanners, WMS/ERP systems, and material-handling equipment. Compensation & Benefits $24.00–$30.00/hour, depending on experience Excellent benefits package after qualifying period Long-Term Disability Plan Paid vacation days Paid sick leave 10 public holidays Responsibilities Coordinate and prioritize the activities of warehouse employees, including organizing, assigning, and distributing customer orders. Monitor daily productivity and help ensure shift targets are achieved. Communicate operational, inventory, and personnel issues to Warehouse Management. Assist with training and onboarding new warehouse employees. Operate Raymond Reach, Order Picker and Cherry Picker equipment as required. Support shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, staging, and material movement. Perform and coordinate inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory control activities. Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures and Health & Safety requirements are followed. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in warehouse operations and team processes. Complete special tasks and assignments as required by Warehouse Management. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Lead, or Lead Hand position. Minimum 8 years of experience using RF scanners. Minimum 8 years of inventory control and cycle count experience. Strong knowledge of WMS/ERP systems; Koerber experience is an asset. Valid Raymond Reach / Cherry Picker certification with hands-on Order Picker experience. Proficient with Microsoft Excel and warehouse reporting. Health & Safety certification required. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate employees and lead by example. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and follow-up skills. Strong time management, attention to detail, and sense of urgency. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly. Comfortable working the Afternoon Shift.
