Job DescriptionJob Description Warehouse Supervisor Location: Vaughan, ON Type: Full-Time, Permanent (3-Month Probation) About Urschel Canada Urschel Laboratories is a global leader in food cutting technology, with over 100 years of history and operations worldwide. Urschel Canada, based in Vaughan, provides local sales, service, parts inventory, and testing to support Canadian food processors. The Role We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor (not a people manager) to manage day-to-day operations in a small parts warehouse. This is a high-ownership role focused on execution, organization, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Manage all warehouse activities: receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and controls Organize warehouse layout and optimize storage/slotting Process orders and support backorder management Ability to navigate an ERP system, to make stock adjustments, review orders & review data Ensure compliance with health & safety standards Build and dismantle shipping crates using power tools Operate material handling equipment for larger machine crates (forklift, etc.) Support light assembly and occasional lab activities Identify and implement process improvements What We’re Looking For 3–7 years of hands-on warehouse experience (parts distribution preferred) Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Experience with ERP/WMS systems and shipping processes Comfortable using power tools and Operate material handling equipment Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to travel to the USA for additional training Compensation $27-30/hour (higher wage for highly experienced candidates) Benefits and RRSP matching after probation Monday–Friday, 40-hour work week 2 weeks (10 days) vacation in addition to company observed holidays.
