Overview:
We are looking for an experienced
Warehouse Supervisor
that will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Cold Storage facility.

40-48 Hours per Week
Annual Salary:
$70,000 - $75,000
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise daily cold storage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch of goods.
Ensure proper temperature control and monitor cold storage conditions to maintain product quality and safety.
Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure productivity and compliance with procedures.
Enforce food safety standards, hygiene practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FIFO/FEFO, HACCP where applicable)
Conduct regular inspections of storage areas, equipment, and inventory.
Manage inventory accuracy through proper documentation, stock rotation, and cycle count.
Coordinate with logistics, production, and quality teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Ensure safe operation of material-handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Investigate and resolve operational issues, damages, or discrepancies.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the cold storage facility.
Prepare reports on inventory levels, productivity, incidents, and performance metrics.
Enforce company policies, safety rules, and emergency procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 2 years experience in warehouse operations, preferably in cold storage or food-related environments.
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience is an asset.
Must be able to operate a counterbalance and reach truck.
Able to operate an RF scanner.
Must be able to work in a cold environment (-18C) for an extended period of time.
Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse procedures.
Understanding of food safety, cold chain management, and workplace safety standards.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer skills for reporting and inventory tracking procedures.
