Role Overview
The Warehouse Manager will oversee all Quarantine (QU) Sales operations, personnel, and warehouse activities to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant management of aeronautical materials. The position is accountable for maintaining compliance with Company Stores policies, regulatory standards, and quality requirements. The QU Sales Manager drives interdepartmental collaboration, supports reporting and communication, and leads strategic improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coordinate, and support the QU Sales team, including Lead Hand and AMT Sales Associates.
Ensure team performance meets company standards for safety, accuracy, efficiency and productivity.
Provide coaching, mentorship, and clear direction to promote teamwork, engagement and continuous improvement.
Plan and prioritize daily workloads, allocating resources to meet operational and customer demands.
Conduct regular performance check‑ins, support development plans, and participate in performance evaluations.
Resolve escalated operational issues, remove barriers for the team, and take proactive steps to prevent recurrence.
Generate, analyze, and present monthly (or ad hoc) operational and performance reports for the Director, Supply Management, providing analysis, trend insights, and recommended actions to address variances or risks.
Act as the primary liaison between QU Sales and internal departments including Procurement, Maintenance, Finance, Quality, and Corporate Sales to ensure alignment on material flow and operational needs.
Coordinate the timely movement of materials, documentation, and project updates through structured planning, scheduling, and communication with cross‑functional teams.
Maintain proactive communication to resolve operational challenges, remove barriers, and support the fulfillment of internal and external customer requirements.
Provide operational insight and data to support strategic initiatives, process improvements, and decision‑making across departments.
Ensure information shared between teams is accurate, timely, and consistent, supporting smooth workflow integration and minimizing delays or misunderstandings.
Influence workflow improvements that enhance interdepartmental efficiency and reduce communication gaps.
Qualifications
A Supply Chain Diploma is required; additional certifications such as Forklift Certification, Receiving Inspector certification, and/or a Dangerous Goods (DG) Specialist designation are considered an asset.
Valid Dangerous Goods and WHMIS certification is required to perform the duties of the role safely and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) and/or a recognized Supply Chain professional designation is preferred.
A minimum of five years of experience in aviation materials or logistics is required, including at least three years in a supervisory or management capacity.
Proven skills in planning, organization, and prioritization to support operational efficiency and business objectives.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally and align stakeholders.
High level of initiative and problem‑solving ability, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Strong customer and results orientation, with a focus on meeting service expectations and driving continuous improvement.
Location
You will work on‑site at our North Bay head office Monday to Friday.
