We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to support our growing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in international logistics and supply chain management Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Salary: $65k - 70k Position Overview The Warehouse Manager is responsible for directing and engaging employees and Warehouse Supervisors in CJ Logistics', Logistics Center to achieve productivity goals. The Warehouse Manager will manage Warehouse Supervisors and will spend most of the time coaching and leading the operations team to efficiently and safely achieve production and quality goals. The role will collaborate with various CJ Logistics teams on implementing initiatives and coordinating resources to implement solutions and training. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide Leadership Communicate clear expectations Motivate and empower the team Deliver on our promise to customers and employees Collaborate with the Customer Operations and Operations Optimization leaders to drive efficiency and consistency Manage Workforce Warehouse Supervisors Train warehouse supervisors and hold them accountable for performance Ensure team leaders are observing, training, and coaching operations employees to drive performance Conduct daily team meetings Monitor operations on the floor and create a strong presence in the logistics center Provide consistent messaging and communications Connect employees to CJ Logistics and the Customer business objectives Deliver Exceptional Performance (including Safety, Quality, Productivity & Customer Requirements) Implement and manage action plans to drive positive results Manage staffing plans Review employee & shift performance with warehouse supervisor Drive cost-reduction initiatives and continuous-improvement activity Support team leader efforts to improve operational performance Address and manage product cases and damage response Troubleshoot problems and remove obstacles so that warehouse supervisors can properly manage their shifts Ensure systems are set up appropriately and enforce process compliance Manage the environment to ensure throughput and system efficiency Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Minimum 6 years of experience supervising employees and managing leaders Skills in leadership, organization, communication and cross functional teamwork Understanding of warehousing operations with experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment Emphasis on safety is extremely important Preferred Familiarity with MHE Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word Familiarity with warehouse management systems or Red Prairie WMS is a plus Ability shift priorities easily, and multi-task in a highly transactional environment Excellent problem solving skills Ability to engage with the workforce and leadership teams and create a positive environment and culture Pay, Benefits and More Competitive Compensation Package Comprehensive Benefits - Enjoy full health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), life insurance, tuition assistance, PTO, and so much more!
