Job DescriptionJob Description Job Title: Warehouse Associate Job Description This role supports a busy distribution center that specializes in window tint and paint protection films for automotive applications. The Warehouse Associate ensures accurate order fulfillment, efficient inventory management, and safe handling of materials while using automated equipment and computer systems to maintain a clean, organized, and high-performing warehouse. Responsibilities Assemble and prepare shipping boxes to support daily order fulfillment. Operate an automated slitting machine via computer interface to cut film products accurately, performing this task for approximately half of the workday. Put away incoming inventory in designated locations to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse layout. Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners and established picking procedures. Scan items into the inventory system using SAP to ensure accurate stock levels and traceability. Support shipping and receiving activities by handling incoming and outgoing materials according to established processes. Use pump trucks to move materials and products safely throughout the warehouse. Handle packaged products weighing up to 50 lbs, especially when items arrive in bulk packaging. Maintain a clean, well-organized work area and follow warehouse procedures to support a safe and efficient operation. Adapt to seasonal workflow changes, working efficiently during slower winter months and at a fast pace during peak summer periods. Essential Skills Minimum 1 year of warehouse picking experience. Proven experience using RF scanners for order picking and inventory transactions. Ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly as required. Strong computer skills with the ability to operate automated equipment and warehouse systems. Experience using SAP ERP for inventory, scanning, and warehouse transactions. Background in shipping and receiving operations. Hands-on inventory experience, including stock put-away and cycle-related tasks. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak seasonal periods. Attention to detail and accuracy when picking orders, scanning items, and updating inventory records. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in a small warehouse or distribution center environment. Familiarity with pump trucks or other basic material handling equipment. Ability to work effectively as part of a small team while also performing tasks independently. Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
