Technology Strategy
Isaac Operations is a hands‑on consulting firm that partners with organizations in manufacturing, shipbuilding, automotive, food and beverage, aerospace and defense, and energy to deliver real, lasting process improvement. We don't just advise — we embed ourselves in our clients' operations and execute alongside their teams. Technology is an increasingly powerful force multiplier in this work, and our growing Isaac Technology team sits at the intersection of consulting and custom software development, data analytics, and digital transformation.
We are looking for an exceptional Vice President of Technology to lead and scale our technology practice and define its long‑term future. This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned technology executive who operates at the intersection of enterprise strategy, client partnership, and technical excellence. You will oversee a growing team of developers, data analysts, and technology consultants, and be accountable for both the performance of that team and the growth of the Isaac Technology business at an organizational level.
We need someone who can walk into a C‑suite conversation, rapidly diagnose a complex operational challenge, and align both client leadership and internal delivery teams around a bold, practical technology vision. You will be as comfortable presenting to a CEO or Board as you are challenging an architecture decision with your engineering leads.
If you are an ambitious technology executive who wants to build something, not just manage it, and wants to see your leadership make a measurable difference for real businesses and real people, we want to hear from you.
While we offer a flexible working environment, this role is expected to be in person at our Liberty Village office a minimum of three days per week on average, with additional client travel as needed.
Job DescriptionWhat You'll Be Doing
Define and own the long‑term strategic vision for the Isaac Technology practice, including how we architect, deliver, and scale solutions across a growing portfolio of client engagements
Serve as an organizational champion for technology as a core driver of Isaac's competitive differentiation and consulting value proposition
Build and own a multi‑year roadmap spanning team capabilities, technology platforms, tooling, and talent — and hold accountability for its execution
Shape Isaac's point of view on emerging technologies and bring authoritative, commercially grounded perspectives on adoption to both clients and internal leadership
Technical Delivery
Set the standards for technical excellence across the technology practice, ensuring all solutions are scalable, commercially sound, and aligned with client outcomes
Provide executive‑level oversight across the technology portfolio, empowering technical leads while maintaining accountability for delivery quality, risk, and client satisfaction
Establish the frameworks, processes, and governance structures that enable a growing team to deliver consistently and confidently
Engage at the executive level on project steering and escalation, serving as the final point of accountability for delivery outcomes
Client Engagement & Business Development
Serve as Isaac's most senior technology voice in client relationships, building trusted partnerships with C‑suite and executive stakeholders across industries
Own the growth strategy for the Isaac Technology business, including pipeline development, go‑to‑market positioning, and revenue targets
Lead high‑stakes client engagements from early discovery through contract close, bringing credibility and commercial acumen to every conversation
Partner closely with Isaac's consulting leadership to embed technology strategy into enterprise‑wide client mandates
Drive client retention and expansion by ensuring exceptional delivery, proactively managing executive relationships, and continually identifying new opportunities to create value
Lead, develop, and inspire a scaling team of developers, data analysts, and technology consultants, building a culture of high performance, ownership, and continuous growth
Establish the organizational structure, talent strategy, and career development frameworks necessary to attract, retain, and grow top technical talent
Serve as a visible and energizing cultural leader — someone who sets the tone for how the team works, communicates, and holds itself accountable
Partner with Isaac's executive leadership on workforce planning, compensation strategy, and organizational design
QualificationsWho You Are
10-15 years of progressive experience in technology roles, with at least 5 years in senior leadership or executive capacity
A background leading technology practices, business units, or P&Ls within a consulting, professional services, or custom software environment
Deep technical fluency across software development, systems architecture, and data analytics — with the judgement to guide technical decisions at an organizational level
A proven track record of building and scaling high‑performing technology teams, with a genuine investment in developing leaders within your organization
Demonstrated success driving business development and revenue growth at a senior level, including owning client relationships and closing complex engagements
Executive presence and communication skills that command credibility at the C‑suite level while remaining accessible and grounded with technical teams
Experience working with clients in industrial, operational, or manufacturing environments is a strong asset
High adaptability and comfort with ambiguity; the ability to lead with clarity and conviction in fast‑moving, complex environments
