Responsibilities Oversee the legal function of Yorkville University and Toronto Film School. Participate in strategic and management level discussions on a broad range of matters including commercial agreements, governance and policy development, privacy, employment, and litigation management. Manage a legal reporting structure. Work with all levels of stakeholders, including senior management, board members, and faculty across all departments. Qualifications Minimum of 12 years of corporate/commercial experience gained with a leading law firm or in‑house. Prior experience with the higher education industry, commercial IT contracts, data privacy/PIPEDA compliance, or private equity transactions is desirable. Strong drafting, negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills. Ability to juggle a number of competing issues, be pragmatic, organized, and self‑motivated.
