Volunteer Driver Thunder Bay, ON Overview: Do you have extra time and an interest in making a difference in the lives of children, youth and families? We are seeking dedicated and motivated Volunteers to support our organization’s mission through various community engagement and program activities. Duties/Responsibilities: Drive children to and from appointments/visits, as scheduled. Ensure child is picked up on time from scheduled pick-up point and passed to a responsible adult at place of appointment. Conveys pertinent information back to worker/agency that may be observed or verbalized by child during trips. Requirements/Qualifications: G driver's license. Access to a reliable vehicle. $1 million liability insurance. Flexible schedule. Commitment required: 8 months with an average of approximately 2-3 hours per week.
