Job DescriptionJob Description Job Summary ** PLEASE contact Amanda Malcolmson directly for immediate information: amalcolmson@teemagroup.com Full-time, Contract Remote | Newfoundland and British Columbia Licensed Registered Nurse – RN Virtual Care (Emergency Department) ** PLEASE contact Amanda Malcolmson directly for immediate information: amalcolmson@teemagroup.com We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Registered Nurse to support patient flow within a dynamic Virtual Care environment in both British Columbia and Newfoundland . This role is ideal for an ER RN who genuinely thrives in busy, fast-paced settings and enjoys balancing patient coordination, triage, and critical thinking in real time. The Registered Nurse plays a key role in ensuring patients receive timely, high quality care by coordinating virtual appointments, prioritizing patient needs, supporting continuity of care, and collaborating closely with healthcare providers across multiple care streams and sometimes all at the same time! These roles will go quickly! Key Responsibilities Coordinate and prioritize virtual patient appointments based on urgency and clinical need Support patient flow across multiple care streams and levels of care Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize scheduling and patient care delivery Communicate patient information and care updates to clinical teams Maintain accurate documentation and electronic medical records Coordinate follow up processes, including communication of lab results and critical findings Support continuity of care between virtual and in person healthcare services Qualifications Registered Nurse in good standing with BC and NFLD. Current CTAS certification with 5+ years of experience in a fast paced clinical environment Strong understanding of Emergency Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice Experience with patient triage, healthcare coordination, and scheduling Familiarity with EHR systems and virtual care platforms ACLS and Telephone Triage Nursing Certification considered assets Multiple provincial nursing licenses considered an asset (in addition to BC and NFLD) What You Bring A genuine love for fast paced, high volume healthcare environments Strong clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize effectively under pressure Excellent communication and documentation skills Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities A compassionate, patient focused approach Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset Comfort adapting quickly within an evolving virtual care environment Schedule Full flexibility is required Monday through Sunday, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, based on operational scheduling needs.
