Registered Nurse – RN Virtual Care (Emergency Department)

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Registered Nurse to support patient flow within a dynamic Virtual Care environment in both
British Columbia and Newfoundland
. This role is ideal for an ER RN who genuinely thrives in busy, fast-paced settings and enjoys balancing patient coordination, triage, and critical thinking in real time.
The Registered Nurse plays a key role in ensuring patients receive timely, high quality care by coordinating virtual appointments, prioritizing patient needs, supporting continuity of care, and collaborating closely with healthcare providers across multiple care streams and sometimes all at the same time!

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and prioritize virtual patient appointments based on urgency and clinical need
Support patient flow across multiple care streams and levels of care
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize scheduling and patient care delivery
Communicate patient information and care updates to clinical teams
Maintain accurate documentation and electronic medical records
Coordinate follow up processes, including communication of lab results and critical findings
Support continuity of care between virtual and in person healthcare services
Qualifications
Registered Nurse in good standing with BC and NFLD.
Current CTAS certification with 5+ years of experience in a fast paced clinical environment
Strong understanding of Emergency Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice
Experience with patient triage, healthcare coordination, and scheduling
Familiarity with EHR systems and virtual care platforms
ACLS and Telephone Triage Nursing Certification considered assets
Multiple provincial nursing licenses considered an asset (in addition to BC and NFLD)
