regular position
of Vice-Principal will be available as of July 1, 2026, at REACH School with pavilions located at 471 Green, 675 Green, 737 Green & 276 Queen in St Lambert.
NATURE OF THE TASK
The selected candidate will, in collaboration with and under the supervision of the Principal, assist in the management of the pedagogical and administrative matters of the school in order to foster success for all students. The position includes all of the duties required for the management of the programs, resources and related to one or more of the programs as determined by the School Principal. These matters include: the Educational Project, School Success Plans, Evaluation of Staff, Individual Educational Plans, Student Activities and any local school initiatives.
The position requires excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution and communication skills in English and in French. The successful candidate should have a solid knowledge of the QEP. In addition, skills developed in the area of community relations with parents, students and other partners that support the school community, are required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in education or an undergraduate degree in a relevant field of study certifying a minimum three-year university program.
Master’s level degree or Certificate in Educational Administration (completed or in progress).
Permanent teaching license issued by the Ministère de l’Éducation (MEQ).
Five (5) years of relevant experience.
FURTHER REQUIREMENTS
Mastery of both French and English, spoken and written.
Strong knowledge of pedagogical programmes and the Quebec Education Program.
Proven Leadership Skills.
Excellent interpersonal relation and communication skills.
Commitment to the integration of students with special needs.
Training in TEACCH, CPI, ABA, knowledge of Autism and have any other special needs training
Awareness of the six programs: 4 year-old, 5-year old K, P.I.I., C.A.S.P 1, C.A.S.P 2 and WOTP.
SALARY AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Salary and working conditions are in conformity with the Regulation respecting the Conditions of Employment of Management Staff and School Boards. The position falls in Classification 06, for a salary between 90,073$ to 120,093$ per annum according to qualifications and experience.
