The Role
The Vice President of Client Policy is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing Glass Lewis's global client policy function. This individual will lead a team of policy professionals who serve as the primary experts on client proxy voting policy design, implementation, and ongoing management. The Vice President of Client Policy will play a critical role in shaping the tools clients use to build their policies. This individual will partner with Product, Technology, and Client Services to build solutions that support institutional investors in policy consultation, design, reporting, and insights.
This is a highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of client services, product, research, and commercial, and requires a leader who can operate both strategically and hands-on.
This is a full-time, hybrid position requiring regular office attendance (3x per week) at our downtown Toronto office.

Requirements
Qualifications
10+ years of experience leading teams, ideally in a role that combined people management with product, operations, or service delivery;
Strong track record of partnering with Product/Engineering teams to design and launch tools, workflows, or platforms;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex or technical concepts for diverse audiences;
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across a global team;
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority;
Comfort engaging with senior stakeholders, including clients and internal leadership;
Background in proxy voting, corporate governance, financial services, or institutional investing is a strong plus, but not required—we'll invest in ramping the right person up on the domain;
Bachelor's degree required.
