Vice President, Acquisitions and Development at Public Storage — NeverHard

Job Description Key Responsibilities Acquisitions & Development Leadership Lead sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and advancement of acquisitions, developments, redevelopments, and expansion opportunities across target markets. Develop market strategies and portfolio growth plans informed by market trends, competition, demographics, and investment priorities. Oversee underwriting, valuation, business case development, and investment committee materials for transaction opportunities. Lead due diligence efforts across legal, title, environmental, operational, entitlement, and financial workstreams. Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, developers, landowners, municipalities, consultants, and other external stakeholders. Coordinate with Legal and leadership on letters of intent, purchase agreements, development agreements, joint ventures, leases, and related real estate documents. Manage pipeline visibility, prioritization, transaction status, risk tracking, and leadership reporting. Partner with Development, Architecture, Construction, and Operations to transition approved deals into execution. Provide strategic recommendations related to market entry, capital allocation, timing, risk, and portfolio fit. Support continuous improvement in acquisition and development workflows, market intelligence, and decision support.
