Veterinary Medicine - Lecturer, Term (Large Animal Internal Medicine)
Applications are invited for a full‑time, 3‑year term Lecturer position in the Large Animal Internal Medicine (LAIM) service of the Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. The appointment is 75% dedicated to the LAIM service, providing supervision and instruction to undergraduate DVM students, interns, and residents, and 25% available for other academic, administrative, or related activities.
Full responsibilities include teaching lectures, laboratories, and demonstrations in Years1‑3 of the DVM curriculum and graduate courses, and actively participating in the LAIM clinical service at the Veterinary Medical Centre.
Applicants must hold a DVM degree or equivalent, have completed an approved mixed residency in LAIM, and be certified or eligible to sit for the ACVIM diplomate exams. A relevant advanced degree is desirable. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada, hold a valid Saskatchewan Veterinary Medical Association license, and possess clinical interest and experience in production (food) animals and horses. Teaching experience is an asset.
Salary for the 2026‑2027 academic year ranges from 95187USD to 139203USD, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
