Job DescriptionJob Description We are an independent three-bay automotive repair shop looking for an experienced and motivated automotive technician to join our team on a full-time basis. Required Must have a current valid 310S license Must have minimum of 3 years experience as an automotive technician European auto experience is a strong asset Valid G license and driving record check (abstract) required Areas of specialization Engine repair 4-wheel drive Electrical and electronic systems Diesel engines Diagnostics Steering and suspension Brake system Hydraulic system Fuel and emission system Ignition and electrical system Automatic transmission Standard transmission Engine repair and overhaul Drive train components Welding Imported vehicles Front end components Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system Job duties include: Discuss work with supervisor Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions Test automotive systems and components Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems Repair or replace mechanical units or components Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs Perform scheduled maintenance service Test and adjust units to specifications Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements Complete reports to record problems and work performed Coach and instruct apprentices Provide customer service Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and pay attention to detail Own tools/equipment You must provide your own steel-toed safety boots and tools/toolbox Salary We pay hourly (NO FLAT RATE). Starting pay range is between $26 - $36 per hour. Starting pay is commensurate with experience and skillset.
