Valve Technician at Unified Valve Group Ltd. — NeverHard

Unified Valve Group is currently looking for Valve Technician for our team in Red Deer. This is a great opportunity to work mainly in a shop with the possibility of on-site work. Responsibilities Making repairs to valves Assembling and breaking down new or used equipment Inspecting, repairing and testing equipment Field service work as needed Tear down and troubleshooting of customer owned property for inspection, repair, reassembly and testing Assembling, testing, and painting of new or used wellhead/tree sections Courteous and professional communication with customers, vendors and Unified Valve Group Team Members Adherence to Unified Valve Group’s Safety Policies and Procedures General shop maintenance and up keep including storage, equipment clean-up and shipping and receiving as needed Requirements Valve (PSV/PVRV/ANSI) experience an asset but not required, will train the right candidate Strong problem solving ability with minimal supervision Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Must be able to frequently stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms and stoop Must have good computer skills, experience with Valve Tech would be considered an asset Ability to work in both a team environment and alone with minimal supervision Ability to read and write clearly Must be able to operate safely in a heavy equipment shop environment Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Test (Drug, Alcohol and Fit test) All resumes will be retained for the duration of the recruit only; all resumes will be destroyed immediately following candidate selection.
