Job Description
As a Truck Driver, you will play a critical role in delivering goods safely and efficiently across Canada and the USA. You will be responsible for maintaining schedules, complying with transportation regulations, and ensuring excellent service for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and drive long-haul trucks and tractor-trailers.
Transport goods and materials to various destinations across Canada and the USA.
Plan travel routes and meet delivery schedules.
Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
Ensure cargo is secured properly and handled with care.
Complete logbooks and reports on hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Adhere to safety, company, and government regulations at all times.
Requirements
Valid Class 1/A (or equivalent) commercial drivers license.
Minimum 12 years of verifiable truck driving experience (long-haul preferred).
Clean driving record (abstract required).
Ability to work independently and handle extended hours on the road.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Assets:
Experience with cross-border (CanadaUSA) transport.
Knowledge of ELD (Electronic Logging Device) systems.
Defensive driving training.
Ability to handle reefer (temperature-controlled) trailers.
