Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,511–$2,630 per week - Guaranteed hours: 40 per week - Contract duration: 12 weeks - Shift: Monday–Friday, days; 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; no weekends/on-call - Start date: 09/07/2026 - Setting: Short-term acute care hospital environment in Lancaster, OH - TrueBeam/ARIA experience preferred Responsibilities - Deliver prescribed radiotherapy using the appropriate equipment according to physician prescriptions and established standards. - Obtain patient history, answer questions, explain procedures, and observe for unusual reactions or events during treatment. - Verify prescription, diagnosis, chart, and patient identification; ensure accurate treatment delivery and documentation. - Prepare treatment room and equipment; assist with patient positioning and immobilization; monitor for life-support needs as applicable. - Conduct verification and port film exposures; adjust therapy as directed by the physician. - Maintain accurate electronic and written documentation, including evaluation results, treatment plans, and progress notes. - Collaborate with physicists, nurses, social workers, and other team members; uphold safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards. - Reinforce post-treatment instructions and coordinate with the broader care team for follow-up and supportive care needs.
