This position involves providing critical nursing care in a busy emergency department setting. RNs will manage a wide range of trauma and medical cases, requiring quick assessment and decisive action to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Job Details: Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Shift hours are from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Every other weekend and holidays are required. Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) required; BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) preferred. Valid New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license. Certifications include BLS-AHA, ACLS-Telemetry, PALS, NIHSS, and CEU Contact Stroke (4 hours). Minimum of 18 months of recent emergency department nursing experience. Preferred Qualifications: None specified. Additional Information: The role requires rapid assessment of patients with diverse physical and mental health conditions, prioritizing care effectively in high-pressure situations. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and hospital personnel are essential. Scrub color is navy.
