Contract to Hire | 3 months - Hire

Pay Range:
$24–$28 per hour
Description
Our client is looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Travel Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you'll manage a high volume of corporate travel requests, ensuring employees have seamless travel experiences while following company policies and procedures. You'll play an important role in supporting business operations by coordinating travel efficiently, accurately, and with exceptional attention to detail.
What You'll Be Doing
Coordinate and book flights, hotels, rental cars, and other travel arrangements for employees.
Manage travel changes, cancellations, and urgent requests in a timely manner.
Provide outstanding customer service by responding to employee travel inquiries and resolving issues.
Ensure all bookings comply with company travel policies and procedures.
Apply travel credits, unused tickets, and loyalty programs to maximize cost savings.
Maintain accurate travel records, confirmations, and documentation.
Work with travel vendors to resolve booking issues, delays, or disruptions.
Assist with travel expense documentation and reconciliation.
Track travel activity and identify recurring issues or opportunities for process improvements.
Use sound judgment when making travel arrangements and escalate exceptions when needed.
Provide backup support for reception and other administrative duties as required.
What You Must Have
Experience coordinating travel or working in a fast-paced administrative, scheduling, or booking environment.
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Ability to follow established processes and maintain confidentiality.
A reliable, proactive, and service-oriented approach to your work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience booking complex or multi-leg travel itineraries.
Knowledge of airline fare rules, ticket exchanges, refunds, and rebooking procedures.
Experience using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Travelport/Galileo.
Post-secondary education in Travel & Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
