Location Preferred: Almaty, Kazakhstan (On-site) Alternative: Vietnam (Remote/Hybrid, subject to business requirements) Reporting Line Functional reporting to relevant Department Heads and Project Stakeholders. Administrative reporting as assigned by the Company. Job Purpose The Translator & Localization Specialist is responsible for providing accurate, timely, and professional translation and interpretation services between English, Russian/Kazakh, and Vietnamese. The role supports effective communication among internal stakeholders, management teams, government authorities, partners, and external service providers while ensuring consistency and standardization of multilingual documents across the organization. Key Responsibilities Translation & Localization Translate written materials between English, Russian/Kazakh, and Vietnamese, including but not limited to: Policies, procedures, and internal regulations. Contracts, agreements, and legal documents. Business correspondence and reports. Presentations, training materials, and operational documents. Government and compliance-related documentation. Review and proofread translated content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and appropriate business terminology. Maintain and continuously improve translation glossaries, terminology databases, and document templates. Interpretation Provide consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation during: Meetings and business discussions. Internal workshops and training sessions. Recruitment interviews and employee communications. Discussions with government agencies, partners, and external stakeholders. Facilitate effective communication among Vietnamese, Kazakh, Russian, and international stakeholders. Documentation & Standardization Standardize multilingual documents and ensure consistency in language usage across departments. Develop and maintain translation standards, style guides, and document control practices. Support document management and version control processes. Business Support Coordinate with internal departments to understand translation requirements and priorities. Support cross-functional projects involving stakeholders from Vietnam, Kazakhstan, and other CIS markets. Assist management in preparing bilingual or multilingual communications and reports. Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Foreign Languages, International Relations, Business Administration, or related fields. Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in translation and interpretation. Experience supporting multinational organizations or cross-border business operations is preferred. Experience translating legal, operational, compliance, HR, or corporate documents is an advantage. Language Requirements Professional proficiency in Vietnamese and English. Professional proficiency in either Russian or Kazakh (preferably both). Strong written and verbal communication skills across all working languages. Skills & Competencies Excellent translation, editing, proofreading, and interpretation skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism. Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and translation-related tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in transportation, mobility, logistics, technology, or multinational corporations.
