Job Description BryceTech is seeking a Training Specialist to support the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with the design, development, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of training and professional development programs. The Training Specialist will work with CDC personnel and stakeholders to identify training needs, develop effective learning solutions, and ensure training materials and activities align with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in instructional design, adult learning, curriculum development, training delivery, and evaluation. The candidate should be comfortable working with subject matter experts and translating complex technical or programmatic information into clear, engaging learning content. Responsibilities Conduct training needs assessments to identify knowledge, skill, and performance gaps Collaborate with CDC leadership, program personnel, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to define training requirements Design and develop instructor-led, virtual, blended, and self-paced training programs Develop training curricula, course outlines, lesson plans, facilitator guides, participant guides, job aids, and other instructional materials Translate complex technical, scientific, policy, or programmatic information into accessible training content Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to training development Develop presentations, exercises, case studies, simulations, assessments, and other learning activities Facilitate and deliver training sessions, workshops, orientations, briefings, and other learning events Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, communications, registration, materials, technology, and participant support Work with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with program requirements Develop and administer knowledge checks, assessments, surveys, and other tools to measure training effectiveness Analyze training participation, completion, satisfaction, and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement Evaluate training outcomes and recommend modifications to improve learning effectiveness Maintain training curricula and materials to ensure content remains current and accurate Support the development and implementation of training plans and learning strategies Develop training schedules, implementation plans, status reports, and other program documentation Support learning management system (LMS) activities, including course creation, enrollment, completion tracking, and reporting Coordinate with internal and external training providers and vendors as needed Develop executive-level briefings and reports regarding training activities and outcomes Ensure training products comply with applicable CDC policies, accessibility requirements, and organizational standards Support multiple training initiatives simultaneously while meeting established deadlines Perform other related duties in support of CDC workforce development and training objectives
