Kapco Tool & Die, a division of The Narmco Group, is a key source of our die builds focusing on both progressive and tandem dies, specializing in deep draw, aluminum, ultra high strength steel (UHSS) and complex stamping dies. Wage range $18.00 to $25.00 Job Summary – Tool & Die Maker Gain experience in reading and interpreting blue prints, CAD data and sketches Gain experience with working different types of tool steel Learn how to analyze and problem solve any quality of functional defects of a die Learn how to build various types of dies used in automotive stamping – progressive, transfer Enrollment in Apprenticeship Program at St. Clair College Compensation will be based on which level the apprentice is currently at.
