Position Summary
This casual on-call
Ticket Seller
position will keep you busy working with people in a fast-paced box office! You will provide exceptional customer service following the principles of our great program. You have experience working with cash and balancing sales at the end of the day. Your teamwork skills, flexibility, and positive attitude will help us ensure our guests have an amazing experience!
This role pays an hourly rate of $18.25 CAD
Benefits for Part-Time roles: Pension matching.
This position will remain open until September 4, 2026.
About The Venue
The
Ovintiv Events Centre
operated by Oak View Group, is the premier event facility providing a wide range of sports and entertainment opportunities for the Alberta and British Columbia Peace Region.
Responsibilities
Receive and process counter, phone and mail ticket orders using various aspects of the ticketing system
Follow proper procedures regarding money and ticket reconciliation after every work shift.
Provide accurate facility information and superior customer service to patrons.
Prepares daily ticket office accounting reports when needed
Familiar with Policies and Procedures for name changes and reprints and able to process both
Process Sales for Club Seats and Suites
Familiar with Basic AM Monitor Functions
Knowledge of Basic Hold Codes
Familiar with Trouble Ticketing Procedures
Assist other departments as needed
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Prior sales and customer service experience; ticketing sales helpful but not necessary.
Experience handling/reconciling cash and the ability to calculate money with efficiency and accuracy
Strong communication skills.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Programs
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
