Job Summary: The Intermediate Test Analyst is responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases to ensure software quality and functionality. This role involves analyzing requirements, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver reliable software solutions. Responsibilities: Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on project requirements. Identify, document, and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues. Perform regression, functional, and integration testing to ensure software quality. Maintain and update test documentation and test data as needed. Participate in review meetings and provide feedback on testing progress and risks. Required Skills & Certifications: Experience with software testing methodologies and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle (STLC). Familiarity with defect tracking tools. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Skills & Certifications: Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent). Experience with automated testing tools and scripting. Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies. Understanding of database concepts and SQL. Special Considerations: May require attention to detail during critical release phases. Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Scheduling: Standard business hours with potential for occasional extended hours during release cycles.
