Job DescriptionJob Description Job Title: Test Analyst – Intermediate Duration: 10 Months Location: Onsite (Canada-based work required) - Edmonton, AB Project Procurement System Modernization Role Overview The Test Analyst will be responsible for establishing and executing effective testing strategies to validate system functionality and ensure alignment with business requirements. This role involves close collaboration with project teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to support the full testing lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Establish testing approaches to measure results and ensure quality outcomes Ensure test cases align with business requirements and delivered functionality Review and provide input during requirements gathering and design phases Identify and communicate testing issues and recommend process improvements Define and prioritize test items for evaluation Support the development and execution of test plans Collaborate with subject matter experts to define test scenarios and required test data Gather, manage, and maintain test data Execute tests and evaluate results across test cycles Facilitate and manage test execution, including setup and coordination Log test outcomes, verify execution, and define exit criteria Collaborate with project teams to analyze and resolve defects Track test metrics, results, and overall testing progress Participate in meetings to provide updates on testing activities Support analysis and resolution of system issues Utilize AI tools and/or automated testing tools where applicable Work Environment & Requirements Work must be performed within Canada due to data security requirements Onsite presence required (5 days per week) Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:15 – 16:30 (local time), excluding public holidays Equipment Computer equipment (laptop or desktop) will be provided Additional Information This is a newly created position and currently vacant Background check (criminal record) required prior to start Mandatory training will be required upon onboarding, including privacy and security awareness courses Ideal Candidate Profile Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices Experience with test planning, execution, and defect management Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Familiarity with automated testing tools and AI-assisted testing is an asset For more details reach at resumes@navitassols.com .
