Territory Sales Representative - Bakery Ingredients & Foodservice Solutions
Greater Toronto Area (Field-Based)
MacDonald Search Group has been asked by our food manufacturing and distribution client to recruit a Territory Sales Representative for the Greater Toronto Area. This role is focused on driving growth across bakery, foodservice, and commercial food production customers by delivering ingredient solutions, bakery products, and value-added support that help customers grow their business.
Some of what you will do:
Manage and grow an established GTA territory across commercial bakeries, foodservice operators, in-store bakery programs, and industrial food customers
Prospect and secure new business opportunities through consultative, relationship-driven selling
Present ingredient, bakery product, packaging, and operational solutions tailored to customer needs
Partner with customers to identify growth opportunities through product innovation, menu development, and operational efficiencies
Conduct business reviews, customer presentations, and product demonstrations to drive engagement and commercial growth
Collaborate with internal technical, operations, and customer service teams to ensure exceptional execution and support
Manage pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and margin expectations aligned with business objectives
Maintain disciplined CRM usage, forecasting, call planning, and pipeline management
Represent the organization at trade events, customer showcases, and industry networking opportunities
You should have the following:
3+ years of B2B sales experience in foodservice, bakery ingredients, food manufacturing, or ingredient distribution
Strong understanding of commercial bakery, food production, or restaurant operations
Experience with consultative selling and solution-based account management
Proven ability to prospect, win new business, and grow existing accounts
Strong commercial acumen including pricing, margin management, and territory planning
Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills
Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable operating independently in a field sales role
Post-secondary education in business, food science, hospitality, or related discipline is an asset
