Territory Sales Manager, Neuro/Peripheral
is a critical member of the Balt Canada team focused on accelerating sales growth by establishing trusted partnerships with key customers and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance Balt Canada’s market position.
What Your Role is About:
The
Territory Sales Manager, Neuro/Peripheral
reports to the General Manager and will support an important mandate to drive growth, in collaboration with the General Manager, by pursuing strategic opportunities and delivering value to physicians, clinicians and patients.
Strategic Accountabilities
Participate in cross-functional planning sessions to set the sales and marketing strategy, discuss business issues and opportunities, and expand knowledge and skills
Partner with the General Manager to set annual sales targets
Maintain an understanding of competitors’ practices and develop a point-of-view on how Balt Canada can win market share
Engage in national and global product education and sales training to understand how Balt’s products support patient care and outcomes
Set bold growth goals and build momentum for sales growth
Operational Accountabilities
Lead sales activities in the assigned market area in compliance with rules governing the relationship between the healthcare industry and healthcare professionals
Continuously enhance understanding of the neurovascular environment and Balt Canada neuro/peripheral product portfolio; educate, inform and inspire physicians and clinicians on proper indication and use of Balt products
Acquire new customers, maintain and expand existing customers, and support the use of all Balt Canada products in the angio suite and operating room
Build and manage strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders within the territory
Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction through strong communication, delivery management, problem-solving and in-service training
Maintain a clear line-of-sight of customer activities (dashboard, potential analysis, action plan and execution)
Manage and maintain consignment products within hospitals as well as trunk stock inventory
Contribute to planning and implementation of product evaluations
Enhance Balt Canada’s market position through participation in local, regional, and national trade shows, conferences, and workshops
Understand and adhere to regulatory requirements pertinent to medical device sales, marketing and evaluations
Initiate preventative and corrective action plans in the event of product non-performance and quality issues
What You Bring to the Role:
The ideal candidate is a proven medical device sales professional with a track record of driving sales growth and market share through collaborative partnerships with physicians, nurses and clinicians. Specific skills and experience include:
University degree in business, science, kinesiology or related field
10+ years of sales experience, including at least 3 years in neuro/peripheral product categories in Ontario
Knowledge of the Canadian health care market
Positive, energetic team player
Flexibility to travel regularly within the sales region and internationally for training and business planning
