What's In It For You
Compensation: $100,000 base salary + uncapped commission structure (OTE $140k - $160k+).
The Opportunity
We are representing a high-growth Canadian Fintech startup that is disrupting the traditional payments landscape. Think of a platform that turns major recurring expenses into rewarding financial experiences, making money move smarter for thousands of users. As a Territory Sales Account Manager, you will sit at the intersection of Business Development and Account Management. You'll be responsible for hunting new partnerships while strategically growing and retaining your existing book of business within the GTA.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Sales: Identify, prospect, and close new partnership opportunities to expand market share in Toronto.
Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring long-term retention and platform adoption.
Strategic Costing: Analyze merchant/partner processing fees and present tailored value propositions that demonstrate ROI.
Territory Growth: Develop and execute a territory plan to meet monthly acquisition and revenue targets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Product and Operations teams to relay partner feedback and influence the product roadmap.
Qualifications
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Sales or Account Management, ideally within Payments, Fintech, or SaaS.
The "Hunter" Mentality: Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and cold-prospecting in a competitive landscape.
Analytical Rigor: Ability to walk partners through financial data, interchange rates, and cost-benefit analyses.
Local Expertise: Strong knowledge of the Toronto business market and a network in real estate, retail, or professional services is a major plus.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency with modern CRM tools (HubSpot/Salesforce) and a fast-paced startup workflow.
