Group Summary:
The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Job Responsibilities:
Answers internal customers' computer system problem calls and assists in resolving the problem or passes it on to the appropriate Information Technology staff member.
QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO DO THE JOB:
Immediate, open temporary position (one year requirement)
$32.72 - $36.35 per hour
University Degree/College Diploma (preferably in Computer Science) or equivalent experience required
Minimum three years in IT role preferred, proficient computer use with MS office and related software
Must have Customer Obsession ability and understanding
Experience with hardware - printers, scanners, cell phones
Windows administration experience (Active Directory) an asset
Previous computer operations experience (maintenance, setup, backup, problem solving)
Excellent communication skills (written and oral, in English)
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Proven ability and desire to work as part of a team whose primary focus is customer service
Previous administrative experience an asset, proven ability to work with many priorities
Must be well organized with great attention to accuracy and details
Must have demonstrated good work habits for a period of not less than six months in present job
MAIN DUTIES:
Support production for IT support requests, remote support - off hours and weekends
Support various Barcode printers and scanners on the floor includes cleaning and problem solving
Troubleshoot and support any computer hardware/software issues - AS/400, PC, printers, e-mail
Support AS/400 applications - EDI, Shipping, Customer Service
Perform and verify AS/400 nightly backups
Maintain forms and logs of requests, equipment database
Train, coach and assist users throughout the company with problem resolution
Maintain and troubleshoot cellular and communications devices
Communicate and support Continuous Improvement, 5S and standardized work implementation
Other duties as assigned
