Vauxhall Elementary School is an Early Learning to Grade 6 school. Our staff of 25 provide service for approximately 140 students from Vauxhall and area. We are located in Vauxhall, approximately 20 minutes north of Taber. We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and student-centered full-time teacher to join our K–6 team. Assignment Includes - Teaching core Language Arts and Math instruction, primarily to grade 1. There is a possibility of teaching some other subjects such as physical education, dependent on the strengths of the successful candidate. Responsibilities include: Delivering high-quality instruction in Language Arts and Mathematics, with some of our youngest learners. The possibility of teaching other subject areas across grade levels. Using a variety of instructional strategies, interventions, and supports to help students achieve success. Creating a classroom culture built on respect, consistency, accountability, and encouragement. Demonstrating exceptional classroom management skills while maintaining a safe, organized, and productive learning environment. Building strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Monitoring student progress and communicating effectively with parents and school staff. Participating actively in school events, collaboration, and professional development opportunities.
