Summary
Titan Environmental is looking for a skilled
Technician
to join our team. Be part of a dynamic team shaping critical environmental containment projects! In this hands-on role, you'll install, weld, and test high-performance geomembrane liners for landfills, ponds, and industrial sites. We’re looking for driven professionals with experience in geomembrane applications, a sharp eye for detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and assist in the installation, welding, and maintenance of geomembrane liners and other geosynthetic materials, ensuring proper alignment, placement, and sealing for long-term durability.
Prepare work sites by cleaning, levelling, and ensuring proper surface conditions.
Conduct routine inspections to monitor material quality, and document installation processes to ensure compliance with project specifications, and industry standards.
Collaborate with the installation teams, troubleshoot on-site issues, and recommend process and equipment improvements.
Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment, ensuring all tasks comply with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Assist in transporting, handling, and properly storing materials to maintain quality and efficiency.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
IAGI certification required.
Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and equipment, with proficiency in using construction machinery, hand tools, and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Capable of working under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Physically capable of lifting heavy materials, carrying equipment, and working in various weather conditions.
Willingness to travel for extended periods as needed.
Valid driver’s license required.
Preferred:
Experience with geosynthetics, geomembrane installation, or construction-related fields.
Knowledge of geosynthetic materials, such as geomembranes, geotextiles, and related products.
Safety certifications such as CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid, or equivalent.
