Overview
Adastra is seeking a Technical Lead/Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of data and analytics initiatives. This role requires a results-oriented professional who can proactively manage execution, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and ensure successful project outcomes. The Technical Lead/PM will collaborate closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and business partners to manage delivery, resolve blockers, assess technical risks, and maintain project momentum.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Own end-to-end delivery of data and analytics projects, from planning through implementation
Drive project execution by proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and blockers to maintain delivery momentum
Translate business requirements into clear technical plans in collaboration with engineering teams
Assess technical risks, timelines, estimates, and delivery approaches with sufficient technical depth to challenge assumptions where required
Manage stakeholder communication, expectations, and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure accountability across project teams to achieve defined outcomes, milestones, and deadlines
Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to support successful project delivery
Monitor project progress and proactively address issues impacting scope, schedule, or quality
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
5+ years of experience leading technical projects, preferably within data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence environments
Strong experience managing end-to-end technical project delivery from planning through implementation
Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions and execution plans
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve delivery challenges
Experience working with engineering teams and technical stakeholders in complex project environments
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
Ability to assess technical risks, timelines, estimates, and dependencies effectively
Experience driving accountability and delivering projects within defined timelines
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer
Experience delivering data platforms, analytics solutions, or BI initiatives
Previous experience working within large enterprise environments
Experience in Agile delivery methodologies and project management practices
