This position is also responsible for coordinating the security response to incidents. The position has a high degree of responsibility as they act as a liaison between HIAA's duty security and other airport stakeholders. Compensation:$26.75 per hour Major Responsibilities Operational Supervision: Leading the entire on duty security team, ensuring they follow Site Work Instructions and HIAA Post Orders. Incident Coordination: Serve as the primary coordinator for security responses to incidents and emergencies. Takes command of situation until relieved by first responders. Training and Development: Oversee the ongoing training, direction and mentorship of team members. The Team Lead is accountable for the team's retention of site-specific operational knowledge. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring all staff read and understand Occupation Health and Safety (OHS) policies and their responsibility to report any incidents or accidents that occur during their shift. Disciplinary Oversight: Identifying and reporting all disciplinary issues to the CNS HIAA AC Contract Manager such as Late Arrivals, improper dress, early departures, improper conduct etc. Administrative Tasks: Responding to emails, completing daily paperwork, preparing for and giving shift briefings, and providing the on-shift rotation to the ACOs. Security Incidents: documenting and providing details of any security infractions that occur during their shift and providing to the investigation. Training for these posts will be provided during on-the-job training, if a candidate is successful.
