Parkland School Division (PSD) is seeking dedicated educators to join our dynamic team and contribute to a supportive, student-centered learning environment. We currently have multiple Probationary/Continuing grade level assignments available for the 2026-2027 school year in the following areas:
Kindergarten
Grade 2
Grade 5
Grade 6
Interested candidates may also have the opportunity to work during May/June 2026 to get to know the school and help transition into our community before the teaching contract begins.

Primary Responsibilities:
Implement innovative, student-centered teaching practices that align with the Teaching Quality Standard (TQS) to ensure high-quality learning environments.
Design and deliver the Alberta Programs of Study while proactively differentiating and adapting curriculum to meet the diverse needs of all learners in an inclusive Kindergarten setting.
Cultivate deep, meaningful relationships with students, families, and the Fort Chipewyan community to support student success and well-being.
Build a classroom where local history and Indigenous perspectives are woven into daily learning, ensuring every student is celebrated and reflected in the curriculum.
Work closely with school staff and multidisciplinary teams to maintain a welcoming, safe, and respectful environment where every student feels a sense of belonging.
Maintain the competencies and professional standards required by Alberta Education, contributing to the overall growth and success of Athabasca Delta Community School.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Education Degree
Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, First Aid and Mental Health First Aid would be an asset
Strong background in assessment as well as differentiating instruction experience is a definite asset
