Job DescriptionJob Description Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for a Medical Laboratory Technologist position in the Laboratory Services Department. The primary location for this position is: Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital The duration of this temporary contract would be approximately until September 2027, or sooner, as determined by RRHS Qualifications: Certification with Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent. Current registration or eligible as a Medical Laboratory Technologist with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario with authorization to practice relevant specialties in Laboratory Medicine. Minimum two years' experience in a medical laboratory preferred Demonstrated computer literacy (i.e. Cerner) Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to fulfil commitment of 12 hour shifts Demonstrated accuracy, organizational and multi-tasking skills Possess solid technical skills for phlebotomy Ability to collaborate, develop and maintain effective relationships within healthcare teams Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to personal, patient and staff safety Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality Other pertinent conditions : Salary per the OPSEU Salary Schedule ($36.84 per hour to $50.24 per hour) Applying to this Position: If you meet the above qualifications and are interested in applying for the position, please click on APPLY NOW and submit a resume detailing your qualifications.
