Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their high-performing team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in delivering tax compliance, planning, and advisory services to a diverse and growing client base.

The Role
As Tax Manager, you will be a trusted technical resource, supporting complex tax engagements while contributing to strategic planning initiatives. You will collaborate with partners and senior leaders and provide guidance to team members across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
Lead corporate reorganizations and advanced tax planning initiatives
Support succession and estate planning engagements
Assist with tax audits, reviews, assessments, voluntary disclosures, and notices of objection
Conduct tax research and respond to complex tax inquiries
Corporate tax returns
Personal tax returns
Trust returns
Provide technical tax guidance and mentorship to internal team members
Work closely with senior partners on strategic and advisory tax matters
Qualifications & Experience
CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting designation
Completion of CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Course
3–5+ years of progressive tax experience in public practice
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while contributing within a collaborative team
High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail
Strong time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with tax and accounting software, including:
CaseWare
TaxPrep
Sage
QuickBooks
Microsoft Office Suite
