Description and Requirements Job description: Talent Acquisition Partner Position Type: Permanent Full-time Location: North York - Yonge and Sheppard Hybrid: Onsite 3 days per week - Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday Compensation: $78,000 - 82,000 AI use during the recruitment process: Yes Position Overview As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will manage the full lifecycle recruitment process for high-volume individual contributor and management positions. You will move beyond transactional recruiting to act as a true internal consultant—leveraging labor market data, coaching interviewers, and guiding business leaders to make data-driven, legally compliant selection decisions. This role is perfect for a self-directed recruiter who loves building pipelines, elevating the candidate experience, and influencing organizational growth. Key Responsibilities Full Lifecycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned portfolios, from conducting deep-dive intake sessions to executing background checks and delivering employment offers. Strategic Advisory: Partner with hiring leaders to define ideal candidate profiles, articulate technical requirements, analyze talent gaps, and map out creative sourcing strategies. Leadership Coaching: Deliver feedback and coaching to interview panels to continuously improve their hiring capabilities, interviewing skills, and understanding of fair selection processes. Candidate Experience: Champion an exceptional candidate experience for both external applicants and internal employees, ensuring it reflects a warm, high-integrity employment brand. Data-Driven Sourcing: Use market research, labor trends, and data metrics to influence hiring strategies, while maintaining complete applicant tracking system (ATS) integrity. Brand Advocacy: Engage passive talent through creative job writing, active social media sourcing, and participating in targeted recruitment marketing events. Candidate Profile Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline. A CHRP or CHRL designation is highly valued. Experience: 3 to 5 years of full lifecycle recruitment experience. Prior experience handling high-volume recruitment or mid-to-senior level corporate positions is an asset. Industry Context: Background recruiting within the Financial Services, Banking, or Credit Union sectors is highly desirable. Consultative Mindset: Proven ability to build trust, respectfully challenge assumptions, handle competing demands with a sense of urgency, and influence decision-makers. Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of Ontario employment standards and human rights legislation as it relates to hiring practices. Tech Literacy: Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
