Job DescriptionJob Description Systems Engineer Job Description Join our dynamic engineering team responsible for supporting over 30 MacLean vehicle types and their subsystems. You will play a pivotal role in establishing, evolving, and executing internal processes within the Engineering V-model of design, ensuring our products meet the highest safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Support all engineering teams responsible for 30+ MacLean vehicle types and subsystems. Establish, evolve, and execute internal processes for the major steps of the Engineering V-model of design. Conduct systematic reviews of international and regional standards, customer specifications, and use cases. Lead the development of risk assessments and safety concepts, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to define safety-critical functions and risk reduction measures. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, configurations, and processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices. Develop and maintain safety-related work products, including Safety Requirements Specifications (SRS) and Safety Validation Plans. Establish test cases linked to requirements to ensure coverage and compliance, execute tests, and document results. Oversee the creation of verification artifacts and validation tests, ensuring alignment with safety integrity requirements. Use computational tools like Sistema to validate reliability metrics for system components. Establish a world-class testing facility and approach for all testing, including the creation of automated test equipment. Own the product design, including the MSS area guarding system and radar barrier device integrations.
