IT Systems Engineer - Public Safety: The IT Systems Engineer - Public Safety is responsible for the overall technical support, configuration, maintenance, and administration of assigned applications and platforms for the Commerce City Police Department and Courts divisions. This role provides primary and subject matter expertise on assigned applications for the Police Department and Courts and will be the trusted IT partner, identifying technology needs, gathering business and technical requirements, evaluating current and future technologies, and managing technical projects. Hiring salary is dependent upon experience. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, technology management or related field and five years of progressively responsible experience are required. Must complete and pass a CJIS background investigation prior to employment, and obtain CJIS certification within 30 days of starting employment.
