Key Responsibilities Commercial Develop and manage the sustainability sales pipeline across key sectors: oil & gas, mining & metals, energy & power, financial institutions, and infrastructure Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients such as KMG, Kazakhmys, ERG, Tengizchevroil, Kashagan partners, KEGOC, and Samruk‑Kazyna portfolio companies Promote Bureau Veritas sustainability solutions, including: GHG verification and assurance (including OGMP 2.0) ESG reporting and advisory Methane management Energy management (ISO 50001) Sustainability certifications and decarbonization services Identify opportunities linked to Kazakhstan’s ETS, CBAM requirements, and IFI (EBRD/IFC/ADB) standards Lead proposals, pricing, and contract negotiations Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasts in Salesforce Represent Bureau Veritas at industry events and sustainability forums Support business development initiatives across Central Asia (including Uzbekistan) Technical Delivery Lead or support delivery of sustainability projects: GHG inventories and verification ESG assessments and reporting Methane emissions quantification Energy audits and environmental due diligence Act as Project Manager, ensuring quality, timelines, and client satisfaction Coordinate with regional technical teams and global experts Develop and manage a network of local auditors and subcontractors Ensure compliance with accreditation and technical standards Support development of Kazakhstan‑specific solutions and case studies Requirements 4–8 years of combined experience in sustainability, ESG, environmental or energy services Proven ability to both sell and deliver sustainability solutions (hybrid profile required) Strong technical expertise in at least two areas: GHG accounting (ISO 14064, GHG Protocol, OGMP 2.0) ESG frameworks (GRI, ISSB/IFRS S1 & S2, TCFD) Energy management (ISO 50001) Environmental and social impact / IFI standards (IFC, EBRD) Demonstrated track record in business development with industrial clients (oil & gas, mining, energy) Good understanding of Kazakhstan’s ESG landscape (ETS, NDC, CBAM, IFI requirements) Established network in Kazakhstan is a strong advantage Fluency in English and Russian (Kazakh is a plus) Degree in engineering, environmental science, energy, or related field Professional certifications (ISO, auditor qualifications) are an advantage Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems What We Offer Full ownership of the Kazakhstan market (commercial and technical) Competitive salary with performance‑based incentives Access to Bureau Veritas global expertise and regional sustainability teams Strong existing client base and active project pipeline Career growth opportunities within the MCA region and global sustainability function Hybrid work format (5/2 schedule) Мedical insurance provided by the company
