Horizon Recruitment is recruiting for a Supply Chain Business Analyst to support a growing procurement team. This role is focused on turning complex procurement and operational data into meaningful business insights that improve decision-making, contract management strategies, inventory planning, and departmental performance. The successful candidate will work closely with procurement leadership and cross-functional teams to develop analytics, reporting tools, and dashboards that support strategic initiatives and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain procurement databases while ensuring data integrity and accessibility Develop automated processes and tools to improve data accuracy, reporting, and workflow efficiency Integrate and manage data from multiple internal and external sources Create dashboards and reporting tools that provide visibility into procurement performance and key metrics Analyze purchasing trends, vendor activity, inventory usage, and cost data to support strategic decision-making Support procurement strategy development through data analysis, forecasting, and benefit tracking Monitor key performance indicators and develop metrics tied to departmental objectives Identify contract renewal timelines, pricing review opportunities, and compliance requirements Partner with technical teams on cross-functional data and systems initiatives Lead or support technology implementation and information systems projects within the department Prepare presentations and reporting materials for leadership teams and project stakeholders Research and recommend improvements to procurement data management processes and reporting practices Maintain accurate records, reports, and supporting documentation related to procurement analytics activities Requirements: Degree in business, finance, statistics, or a related field Additional training or experience in database management and business analytics Experience working with procurement, supply chain, or purchasing data Strong understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and reporting methodologies Experience designing and maintaining databases and data structures Ability to interpret complex datasets and identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities Experience developing dashboards, reporting tools, and business intelligence solutions Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision Comfortable presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, Power BI, Visio, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Experience with contract tracking, procurement systems, or inventory analytics is considered an asset Remuneration: Salary range of approximately $100,000 annually Full benefits package Only candidates eligible to work in Canada will be considered Horizon Recruitment Inc. is a specialized recruitment and search firm with two complimentary practice areas: Finance & Supply Chain.
